General notes and mandatory information
Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection rules and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.
We point out that data transmission on the internet (for example when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are possible only with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal email to us is enough for this. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal is not affected by the withdrawal.

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent, or in performance of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this is done only where it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons, and to protect the transmission of confidential content such as orders that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address line changing from “http://” to “https://”, and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL or TLS encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Within the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this, and for further questions on personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given under “About us”.

Data collection on our website
Cookies
The website uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offering more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and that your browser saves.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set, and so that you allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, or to provide certain functions you have requested (for example the basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Where other cookies are stored (for example cookies for analysing your browsing behaviour), they are dealt with separately in this privacy policy.
Analysis tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that make it possible to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.
Browser plug-in
You can prevent cookies from being stored by a corresponding setting in your browser software; we point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google Analytics remarketing
Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing together with the cross-device functions of Google Ads. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This function makes it possible to link the advertising audiences created with Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device functions of Google Ads. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages that were adapted to you on one device (for example a smartphone) depending on your earlier use and browsing behaviour can also be displayed on another of your devices (for example a laptop).
If you have given corresponding consent, Google links your web and app browsing history to your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalised advertising messages can be shown on every device on which you sign in with your Google account.
To support this function, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data in order to define and create audiences for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing by deactivating personalised advertising in your Google account; follow this link to do so: www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
The data collected is combined in your Google account solely on the basis of your consent, which you can give or withdraw at Google (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For data collection operations that are not combined in your Google account (for example because you do not have a Google account, or have objected to the combination), the collection of the data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest arises because the website operator has an interest in the anonymised analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and the data protection provisions can be found in Google’s privacy policy at: www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.
Google Ads and Google conversion tracking
This website uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
As part of Google Ads we use so-called conversion tracking. If you click an advert placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to identify users personally. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked the advert and was directed to this page.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained with the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked their advert and were directed to a page tagged with a conversion-tracking tag. They do not, however, receive information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not wish to take part in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion-tracking cookie in your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion-tracking statistics.
“Conversion cookies” are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.
More information on Google Ads and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy: www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set, and so that you allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union, or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide further services associated with website use and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.
Objection to data collection
You can prevent cookies from being stored by a corresponding setting in your browser software; we point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Processing of data on our behalf
We have concluded a contract with Google for the processing of data on our behalf, and we fully implement the strict requirements of the data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic features in Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google and from visitor data of third parties. This data cannot be attributed to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ads settings in your Google account, or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described under “Objection to data collection”.
Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an email address from you, and information that allows us to check that you are the owner of the email address given and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected, or is collected only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively to send the information requested, and we do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter sign-up form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw the consent given to the storage of the data, the email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out is not affected by the withdrawal.
The data you have stored with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and is deleted after the newsletter is cancelled. Data stored with us for other purposes (for example email addresses for the members’ area) is not affected by this.
